Denis NormanSTANFORDIt is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denis Norman Stanford, RIP, on the 14th September aged 93, husband of Pamela, father of Penelope and Rachel, grandad of Joseph, Charles and Theo, father in law of Paul and David, a brother, uncle and brother in law. Denis was a very special man who enriched all our lives. His sense of humour and zest for life will stay with us all forever. His work ethic, from building the first computer at Ferranti's Moston, to retiring only 6 months ago as a civil engineer at PN Daly's in Milnrow, may be a harder act to follow. We will miss Denis dreadfully, thank him for everything he has done for us and hope that we can all #bemorelikegrandad. Family flowers only please but donations will be welcome for the Muir Maxwell Foundation.
