JeanSTANLEYAbsolutely heartbroken to announce, that my beautiful mum Jean has passed away, in Ryde, on the Isle of Wight, on Sunday the 5th October, 2025.
Daughter of Fred and Elsie, sister to Ken and Iris, Wife of Keith, amazing mum to Vicki, and her late brother Mark, glorious grandma to Alistair, Mia and Max, and auntie to many loved nieces and nephews.

A truly beautiful, intelligent, incredible lady, who will be so very sadly missed.

I’m sure I am speaking for all at Osticks of Retford that we are deeply saddened to read this news. Jean was a great friend and colleague to all of us. Her exceptional talent as the first point of contact for our customers whom she chatted to on the phone was legendary. Always bright and cheerful and of course immaculate in her appearance.
