JoyceSTRICKLAND(née Butchart, previously Ritson) (Gateshead)
Passed peacefully in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on 7th May 2025, aged 92 years.
Much loved Wife of firstly, the late Jack (Ritson), and latterly the late Cliff, and dear Mam of Terry and Geoff, cherished Mother-in-law of Ivy and Jackie, loving Grandma of Claire, Craig, Chris, Jen and Sarah, treasured Great-Grandma of Amie & Katie, and Isaac & Violet, also special Sister of Derek, Margaret and the late Alan. Joyce will be deeply missed.
Friends and family are invited to join Joyce's family at her celebration of life service, which will take place on Friday 6th June, at Chowdene Church, Durham Road, Low Fell, at 1:40pm. A private cremation service will take place beforehand.
Family flowers only please, donations, if so desired, can be left on the day with proceeds going to Chowdene Church. A donation box will be available at the Church.
Following the service, all are welcome to Ravensworth Golf Club, for an opportunity to continue sharing memories.
