Proud to have been Terry's friend - a true Socialist, trades unionist and campaigner. Councillor and Coleridge Labour loyalist and rock of the Lichfield Road residents. Long term tenant rep - with the equally wonderful John Marais - on the city council Housing Committee.

A warm-hearted and generous man.

My favourite memory of many was taking him and his Mum to the Cambridge summer "Big Weekend" fireworks. I pushed his Mum in her wheelchair from and back to Ditchburn Place.
She - and he - so loved fireworks - and colour.
I'll be there at the Crem this morning.

Lewis Herbert, Coleridge Councillor for 19 years
and former leader of Cambridge City Council

Terry was a good friend and fellow Resident Volunteer. We had some memorable times in our volunteering roles. He was a committed tenant advocate. He spoke up for tenants and was a skilled letter writer. I've got many happy memories. I'll miss him. Diane
