Alan John GeorgeTABINERAlan Tabiner of Washingborough, passed away peacefully on Wednesday 28th December 2022 aged 74 after recently suffering a stroke. Loving father of Simon & Victoria, father-in-law to Vickie & Mark. Much loved grandad to Emily, Holly & Rocco. Funeral service to be held on Tuesday 17th January 2023 at Lincoln Crematorium at 1.50pm, followed by a reception at the Ferry Boat Washingborough from 2.30pm. Family flowers only please. Donations invited for Great Ormond Street Hospital c/o Lincolnshire Co-op Funeral Services, 22 Grantham Road, Bracebridge Heath, Lincoln LN4 2LD

I am saddened by the loss of Alan and my sympathy goes out to Simon and Vicky and their families. Alan was always very kind and fun to be around and someone who loved his family very much. He also loved Nottingham Forest of course and it is fitting he was able to enjoy the first game of the season for Forest's long overdue return to the Premiership prior to his illness. I sincerely hope that Forest will survive in the Premiership this season and live long there as Alan did in his life.
