BrendaTAYLORMrs Brenda Taylor nee Lord, of Ramsey Avenue, Bacup died peacefully at home on Sunday, May 16, aged 73. A service will be held at the Chapel of Rest on Tuesday, May 25 at 11.30am, followed by cremation at Burnley at 12.15pm, conducted by Mr Peter Goulding. Born in Stacksteads, she came to live in Bacup after her marriage. Brenda was employed as an office clerk at Gaskells and J & J McLerie’s in Bacup. She also worked in Ward 11 at Rossendale General Hospital. She loved visiting local cafes to socialise with her friends and shopping at Marks and Spencers, but mainly being surrounded by her loving family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She leaves her husband Barrie, daughter Andrea and her husband Robert, son Paul, daughter Lisa and her husband Wayne, grandchildren Daniel, Nadine, Matthew, Shaun, Ryan, Saffron and Mackenzie, great-granddaughters Penny and Morgan, nephews, nieces and many friends.
