I miss you today like everyday.
I miss hearing that noise of your keys tangling hooked on your jeans, I knew it would be you before I seen you.
I miss seeing you in the garden sunbathing.
I miss telling you off for doing mental daredevils things a man in his eighties shouldn’t be doing.
I miss your wisdom.
I miss your dancing.
I miss taking things down to yours to fix.
I miss you shouting at the tv when you would be watching the match.
I miss going the shops with you.
I miss you giving me a heart attack appearing at the back door when you would come to ours.
I miss telling you what to wear when you would come out with me.
I miss seeing you in your chair in the parlour.
I miss you ringing me asking me how to work the tv to watch your films.
I miss seeing the look on your face when the kids come to see you.
The list is endless like the love I had for you.That day 9/9/22 a piece of me went with you the silent grief stabs away at my heart.
Today will be hard day without you Dad 2 years gone but never forgotten love you always and forever.
