JoanTEETEE - JOAN (27.7.28 - 27.5.09). Husband Ron, Sons David and Liam, Daughters Carolyne and Marissa wish to thank all other family members, friends and neighbours for all the support given during our sad time. Joan, who was 81, fought bravely against cancer, but thankfully was in no pain at the end. "Thanks" to all the staff in "Glaslyn Ward", Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor. A Humanist Ceremony was held for Joan on 4th June in Bangor Crematorium and was conducted by a friend of many years, Fiona. Joan was proud to have been twice Mayoress of Penmaenmawr and had been a tireless worker for the Soldiers, Sailors and Airforce Association (S.S.A.F.A.). "Thank you" also to Roger and staff of Donald Roberts Funeral Directors for the quiet and efficient attention given. Donations received amounted to £496 and will be shared, as requested by Joan, between the R.N.L.I., North Wales Air Ambulance and the Childrens Hospice - Ty Gobaith.
