DorothyTENNYIt is with great sadness to announce the death of Dorothy Tenny - 16th July 2018, aged 93 Years. The dearly beloved wife of the late Harry. Devoted Mum to Val and Viv. Mother in Law to Allan and John. Precious Grandmother to Jane, Kath and Liz. Special Great Grandma to Herbie and Marv. Dorothy will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A Service of Celebration will take place at Whitworth Cemetery Chapel on Tuesday 24th July 2018 at 2.30pm. followed by interment at Graveside. No extravagant flowers just hand held posies and please wear brightly coloured clothing. Donations would be gratefully received for Castleford Care Home, Edisford Unit, Queens Road, Clitheroe. A donation box will be available of the day. A warm invitation awaits following the interment for light refreshment at Basils Restaurant, Market Street, Whitworth. All most welcome. Special thanks to the wonderful and caring staff at Castleford Care Home, Clitheroe who became friends of Dorothy and her family.
