Gladys IreneTHOMAS(Forest Hall). Peacefully at home on 12th February 2012, aged 83 years, Irene, dearly loved wife to Jimmy, much loved mam to Karen and Edna and nanna to Paul. Will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Please meet for Funeral Service at Whitley Bay Crematorium, on Friday 17th February at 11.15am. Retiring collection in lieu of flowers to Benton Cat and Dog Shelter. All welcome back afterwards for refreshments to Forest Hall British Legion.

14 years ago today you passed away Mam. Miss and love you more than words can ever say. You were the best mother anyone could have ever wish for. I was so lucky to have had such a wonderful, caring, loving and kind mother. Love you always Karen xxxx

Thinking of you Mam this Christmas time. I wish you were still here. Missing you so very much and thinking of our wonderful family Christmas' we always had over the years, just the four of us. Your cooking and baking was always so delicious. I can smell the cheese scones and pies still. Love you with all of my heart, Karen xxxx

Happy heavenly Birthday Mam 🥰You would have been 96 years old today. Love you with all of my heart and I miss you so very much. You were my perfect wonderful mother and my best friend. You were so full of love, generosity and kindness. My beautiful mother, who loved me with all of your heart. You adored and deeply loved Paul your grandson, Jimmy your husband and furry Kai unconditionally. I pray that the four of you are all together in heaven and in peace. All my love Karen xxxx
