Vernon RamseyTHOMASVern,originally from Mumbles and latterly of Glais (former teacher at Bishop Vaughan Comprehensive School),passed away peacefully aged 86 after a long illness borne with dignity at Treforys Care Home. Loving husband and best friend to his devoted wife of 63 years Josie, much loved father to Sarah and Fran, respected father-in-law of Pete and the late Pat, adored Grampy to Sam, Jack, Paul and Beth, proud Great Grampy to Lilly and cherished brother of Daphne. Vern lived his life to the full and will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral service to take place at Swansea Crematorium on Monday, 3rd October, at 11.30 am. Family flowers only please but donations , if so desired, may be made to Alzheimer's Research Uk.
