Valerie (Val)THOMAS(née Tremble) (Hebburn) Peacefully on 4th February 2026, aged 72 years. Beloved wife of George, devoted mam to Angela, loving mother in law of Mark, cherished nana of Amy and Lauren, also a dear sister of Ian and cousin of Roy.

Funeral service to take place at South Shields Crematorium on Tuesday 3rd March, at 10:30am.

Family flowers only please.

Donations, if so desired, will be gratefully received on the day with proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Over 60 years ago I walked into a classroom full of strangers, I sat next to you and our lifelong friendship began. We share many great memories, going out, going on holiday and having a laugh. Will always love you. Love and hugs to all your family.

My Nana, my best friend, I will never stop missing you. Thank you for 27 years of memories, wisdom and knowledge that I will cherish each day. You truly are the best Nana that anyone could ever wish for and I am grateful that you got to be mine.
I love you and miss you more than words could ever say.
