Michael AnthonyTHOMPSONPassed away peacefully on 7th May 2025 at home, aged 84. A fantastic Husband, Dad, Grandad, Brother and Uncle.
His warm, resilient and good-humoured character will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
Michael was born in York, and after spending 15 years serving in the Royal Navy, moved from his base in Portsmouth back up north.
He worked as a Service Manager at a Welding Company and on weekends coached Milnrow and Newhey United Football Team and taught Advanced Driving techniques before retiring.
A hard working and proud man, he will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
