MichaelTHOMPSON(Wallsend) Suddenly at home after a long illness on 26th December 2025, aged 82 years.
It is with the saddest of hearts that we announce that Michael (Mike) passed away last week.
A much loved husband to Liz, Dad to Anna, Helen and Jonathan, Popsie to Maisy, Freya and Ezekiel. Father-in-law to Russell and Leonor and Brother to Teresa and Claire.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday 14th January, 11.30am at St Columba's Church, Wallsend followed by a celebration of his life afterwards at The Lindisfarne Club in Wallsend.
The family would like to extend an invitation to those who knew him and would like you to come along, you will be most welcome.
Family flowers only please, donations will be gratefully received after the service for The Freeman Heart Unit who cared for him for many years.
