Karen AnnTHOMPSONKaren Anne Thompson 'Mooms' Sadly passed away on 12th January.

Beloved Mum to Kate and Ben, and cherished mother‑in‑law to Michael and Emily. Devoted Nan to Sophia and Maxwell, who she adored and who brought her endless joy. Treasured daughter of Brian and Barbara, and loving sister to Julie and Richard. Much‑loved sister‑in‑law to Surinder and Claire.

Life will never be the same without you.

Karen's funeral service will be held at Markeaton Crematorium on Thursday 12th February 2026 at 11:00am.

Following the service all are invited to raise a glass in Karen's memory at The Great Northern, Mickleover, Derby, Derbyshire, DE3 9FB.

Family flowers only.

Donations made in lieu to The British Heart Foundation.

Karen… ‘Tomo’…life long friend..from school and all the fun filled times and our kids growing up together. All the good times with meals and drinks together..and great music…the laughs we’ve had…and sometimes tears…we’ve been through so much together over the years and will miss you and your endless kindness always…and will keep our precious memories close to our hearts…Now fly high our dear friend and party with the angels.
