NormanTHORNLEYof Codnor Formerly of Kilburn. Passed away peacefully at his home 3rd February 2026, aged 83 years.

Funeral service and cremation will take place at Amber Valley Crematorium, Swanwick on Tuesday 3rd March 2.00pm.

Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Norman to be divided between Treetops Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support (cheques payable to Gillotts Funeral Directors Donations Account) may be given by retiring collection after the service or sent to Gillotts Funeral Directors, 1a, Abbott Street, Heanor, Derbyshire, DE75 7QD. Dad, no words can ever describe the emptiness I felt and still am feeling the day you unfortunately passed away, you was and still are my hero and savior when times were tough for me, and if I could be half the man you was towards all of your family I wouldn't go very far wrong, I miss you and always will till the day I take my final breath to meet you once again, I love you dad and thank you for EVERYTHiNG your ever loving son Robert xxxxxxx,
