In Loving Memory of Maureen Thornton (Nee Grimshaw)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maureen Thornton, who died peacefully at home in Ogden on the 6th October, aged 90, surrounded by her loving family.
Maureen was a beloved wife of the late Keith Thornton. Loving mum to Susan, Peter and late Andrew. Much loved mother in law, grandmother to nine grandchildren and great grandmother to nine great grandchildren. Cherished sister and aunt. Maureen will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A funeral service will be held on:
Friday 24th October, at 2.40pm,
at Rochdale Crematorium.
Family flowers only, please.
Donations in memory of Maureen are gratefully received for Springhill Hospice, Rochdale.
Following the service, all are warmly invited to join us at Tunshill Golf Club, Milnrow, OL16 3TS to share memories and celebrate Maureen's life.
