Richard BertramTHORPEIt is with great sadness that the family announce the peaceful passing of Richard at his home on Wednesday 1st March 2023, just 3 months short of his 100th birthday. Beloved husband of just under 70 years, of the late Daphne, much loved dad of Roderick and Linda, father-in-law to the late Jennifer and Rob, devoted grandpa to Henry and Isabel, grandpa-in-law to Angela and cherished and much loved great grandpa to Beatrice and Dorothy. Richard will be sadly missed by his extended family, friends and the optical world. A Service of Thanksgiving will take place at St Alkmund's Church, Duffield on Tuesday 4th April at 12:30pm.
