Roy Stanley EricTILYRoy Tily, 92, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family, on 8th July 2025 at Treliske Hospital, Truro.

Beloved husband of Ann, who predeceased him by four years, Roy will be deeply missed by his three children, two grandchildren, surviving sister, and by all who knew him.

Roy was born in Alton, Hampshire. Sixty years ago, he and Ann moved to Cornwall to seek out quiet sailing waters and raise a family.

The funeral will be held at St. Winnow Church on Thursday 14th August at 11:00 am, followed by committal at Penmount Crematorium, Truro.

Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Cornwall Hospice Care can be made online or by retiring collection at the service.

Giving Dad a ‘Best Dad Ever!’ mug would have little resemblance to how I’ve felt inside over the years.
His company, friendship, understanding, loyalty and him always providing that protective umbrella of acceptance & love whilst only asking I do the same for others,.Well for that, Yes that.. I will respect, love & thank him as long as I live.
Proud to be his son, Proud to call him Dad.

P.S, Dad, You obviously got the WiFi working up there coz you’re in my thoughts more than ever! Thanks & Hugs D xx
