SharonTIMMINSAged 59, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 17 at the Royal Blackburn Hospital after a short illness. Sharon was a loving daughter of the late Ann and Keith Timmins; she also leaves behind a stepbrother, aunts, uncles and many cousins. A well known and lovable character in her local community, she will be sadly missed by a wide circle of family, friends and her carers, of the Highfield Services. Sharon had a wide range of interests and enjoyed her many holidays each year with family, then later with her carers. She loved bingo, but music and dancing was always her favourite. Sharon took pride in helping others and showed great kindness to her friends that she house shared with in Rishton. A short service will be held at 10am on Thursday, February 4 at St Hubert’s RC Church, Great Harwood, followed by a burial at Darwen Eastern Cemetery. Unfortunately due to current guidelines, the church service attendance is limited and there is no gathering after the funeral. Funeral director: Great Harwood Funeral Services, Clayton Street.
