Loving husband of Pam, father to Caroline and Beverley, grandfather to Joshua, Chelsea, Poppy and Daisy, brother to Martin, brother-in-law to Debbie, uncle to Emily and Charlie, great-uncle to Eva and a great friend to many. He will be sadly missed. Mike's funeral will be held in Portugal.

We (Pete and Jean) are so sorry to hear the news that Mick has died. I (Pete) have happy memories of working with him at Conoco and helping in a very small way with the boat. We also fondly remember joining Mick and Pam for a meal on the boat when it was finished and going to visit them when they first got settled in Portugal, the highlight being the train journey to their favourite fish restaurant (shack) on the beach. Happy times!

Wow that’s a shocker for me, Phillip and Kevin (albeit young at the time) still recall the boat and the movie. Tried to locate you both years later but failed. With a heavy heart and a tears in my eyes, I will never forget.
