MichaelTOWNSSadly on 28th March 2026, whilst in the care of Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, Mick passed away aged 76 years.
Devoted husband of Alison, much loved dad of Vikkie and Marie. Treasured grandad of Grace, Meg, Alana and Ebony.

Mick was a special father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great friend to many who will be sadly missed.

A funeral service to celebrate Mick's life will take place at Grimsby Crematorium on Friday 24th April 2026 at 2.15pm.
Family flowers only please, but a donation lieu can be left with the funeral director after the service, which will be put to the benefit of Macmillan and Cancer research UK.
At the family's request Newcastle football shirts to be worn or black and white colours.
No formal attire please.

We’ve known Mick for many years
Enjoyed our visits up to Gateshead
Many good memories
He holds a special place in place in my heart, maybe 4 genuine friends l have!
Now maybe only 3 !!!
Will miss him, and l am really upset that l can’t get to be at his funeral
Very supportive to me when l was ill
Never expected him to go so soon
Big shock !!

So sad Mick was one of life's,great gentlemen will be sadly missed in our friendship circle will miss our BBQ and card nights will always be an empty chair for you Mick R.I. P.
