PaulTRENTMr Paul Andrew Trent, originally from London then of Haslingden, Rossendale, passed away at Royal Blackburn Hospital on Thursday, March 24, aged 74. Paul leaves behind his partner Belinda, son Paul Junior, and step-daughter Laura. He was also father to the late Stephen Trent, who sadly passed away in 2008. He worked as a painter and decorator, a job which he very much enjoyed doing. He liked music, steam trains, and was a collector of model trains. A small service for close family and friends will take place at Johnson, Durning & Woods Chapel of Rest on Friday, April 8 at 10.15am, followed by a burial at Haslingden Cemetery at 11am, where all are welcome. The funeral is open to flowers, and donations, if desired, in memory of Paul may be made to the Stroke Association c/o funeral director Caroline Holden-Dewhurst for Johnson, Durning & Woods Funeral Service, Haslingden.

R.I.P. Paul Trent. Always happy and always smiling. Godfather to my late brother Derek Brennan. I haven’t seen Paul for years he lived at my grandparents house as a teenager for a couple of years in the 1960’s when his parents moved away from the area. He really did love Rossendale, such a lovely man. Sincere condolences to his family.
