Departed this life in the small hours of Boxing Day 2007, after celebrating his 98th birthday on Christmas Eve. Committal at Cowpen Crematorium, Blyth on Monday 21st January at 10.00am, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at St. Michael's Church, Howick at 11.30am. There will be refreshments afterwards at a venue to be advised. No flowers please but donations if desired to North Northumberland Day Hospice, Castleside House, Narrowgate, Alnwick.
