Much missed by sister Joyce and niece Joy. A kind, sensitive artistic man with a lovely sense of humour.
A talented artist, his drawings and paintings were kept by his school and shown to children for many years as an example of what could be achieved. His niece Ann attended the same school many years later and found they still had his artwork.
He was a despatch rider in Northern Ireland in the war.
He married Charlotte Hogg and had two children, Pamela and Howard. He later married Joan and had a daughter, Kay.
His granddaughter, Zoe, has two children - one named Henry Edward and one named Esme Joan - both named after their grandparents.
