Peacefully in Birchdale Clinic Nursing Home, on January 13th, aged 91 years, Barbara Irene (Babs, nee McKie), dearly loved wife of the late Jimmy, a much loved mam of Irene, Babs and June, a dear mother-in-law of George, Jim and Mick, also a loving nana of Stephen, Ian, Paul, Richard, Michelle, Susan and Tracey and their partners Paula, Rachael, Susan, Mark and Kev, also a greatly loved nana Urwin to her nine great grandchildren. Friends please meet for service and cremation at Saltwell Crematorium, on Tuesday January 22nd at 2.00pm. Floral tributes welcome, or donation to the Gateshead Alzheimers Society for which a donations box will be available at the crematorium. All welcome afterwards for refreshments to Sutherlands. A special thank you to nurses and carers at Birchdale Clinic and to all of her home carers Anne, Kath and Janice.
