JeanUTERPassed away peacefully on 30th November 2025 aged 92 at the Royal United Hospital, Bath.
Beloved mother of Andrew, Elizabeth, Richenda and Godfrey, and cherished grandmother of Lewis. Dear sister of Joy Hume, Gaye Walker and Worthley Daley, and loved by many nieces and nephews in Jamaica, the UK and Canada.
Jean was a devoted and studious Nurse, Senior Nursing Officer and Businesswoman for over 40 years, remembered especially for her empathy, kindness and unwavering encouragement to others. She was the proprietor of Westcroft Nursing Home, which she ran with dedication and care for over 30 years.
Funeral Service to be held at The Valley Chapel, Haycombe Crematorium, Bath on Wednesday 17th December at 12 noon followed by a Thanksgiving Service at The Mill at Rode. Family and Friends are warmly invited. Please share this notice with anyone who may wish to attend.
Donations in memory of Jean are being received for Children's Hospice South West and may be donated on line or left in the donation box at the service
