Elizabeth MargaretVARNEYMargaret, passed away peacefully at Royal Derby Hospital, with her family by her side, on Thursday 18th December 2025, aged 88 years.

Beloved wife of the late Pete and treasured mum to Andrew, Tracey, Peter, James and the late Julie and Richard. Margaret was a proud mama, great mama and a friend to many, she will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

A service to celebrate Margaret's life will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Kirk Ireton DE6 3LD on Friday 30th January at 11:00am.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu will benefit the Nightingale Macmillan Unit, General Fund (Fund Number 14001) These may be given at the service, alternatively, you may donate via the link rydefunerals.co.uk/donations
