BarryVICKERSPassed away peacefully at home on Monday 26th January, aged 87 years.
Barry, wonderful and deeply loved husband for 66 years of Maureen (deceased), adored Dad to Paula, Wendy and Allan, dear father-in-law to Andy and Jason and deeply loved Grandpa/Bumpa/Bumps to Jacob, Samuel, Bethany and Charlie.
Barry moved to Truro with his family in 1980 when he became a director of Nature's Store, a healthfood wholesaler based in Redruth. In late 80s he joined Cornwall County Council in the Treasurer's Department from which he retired in 2003.
A lifelong freemason of the oldest lodge in the country as well as locally in Truro, Barry was also a member of City of Truro Male Choir with whom he spent 27 very happy years in the Baritone and Bass section.
All are welcome to his funeral service which will be held in the Trelawny Chapel, Penmount Crematorium, Truro on Monday 16th February at 11.15 am.
