John ElvidgeWADDINGHAMIt is with great sadness we announce the passing of John on
the 8th of October 2025 aged 87 years. John passed away peacefully surrounded
by family and love.

A treasured husband of Barbara, loving father to Kevin, Joanne and Lee and
father-in-Law to Jim and Heather. Adored grandad to Ben, Katie, Joel, Annabel
and Claire and devoted great grandad to Ronnie, Frances, Ava, Oliver, Connie and
Max. Honorary grandad to Harry and Chelsey. An unforgettable, brother-in-law,
uncle and and friend to many.

John lived a remarkable life, filled with love and laughter.

A celebration of John's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on
Wednesday 29th October 2025 at 2.15pm.

Uncle John was an inspiration to all of us.
We will value the times we shared and the humour and stories he would tell. He was always there for all of us - A true gentleman

So many happy memories from the 1970s seeing John make my Dad, Rod Markham, laugh harder than we'd ever seen, very fond memories of the golfing holidays they took together with their Cleethorpes Golf Club crew and the joy that brought Dad. Such a funny fellow, rest in peace John xx
