WAINSTEINLeon Passed away peacefully on 22nd January 2015, aged 84 years, after a short stay at Oakfield Nursing Home. Will be sadly missed by his wife Jean, son Michael, daughter-in-law Gill and grandsons Mark and Tom. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday 13th February 2015 at 12.15pm at Haycombe Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Peggy Dodd Centre c/o Co-operative Funeralcare, Pulteney Road, Bath, BA2 4HP.

I am the grandson of Leon's brother, Russell. My father is Paul Colwill (Wainstein). It is now 2025 and am doing research on the family I never knew, as I grew up in the USA. I wish I could have met Uncle Leon, but was only ever around my grandfather on one occasion in my life. I heard him and grandpa Russell used to fight like crazy. I am glad to know I got some of their genetics.
