Harold Gordon McQueenWAINWRIGHTPassed away peacefully at Clova House Residential Care Home on 29th October 2025, aged 92 years.

He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends, his wife Betty, daughter Julie, grandchildren Isaac, Eden and Owen, stepson Philip and daughter in law Caroline. He is now reunited with his daughters Janet and Jacqui and stepson Ian.

Funeral Tuesday 25th November, service 2:30pm at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston-on-Trent.

Family flowers only please.

Donations in lieu will support the Nightingale MacMillan Unit, Derby and Burton Hospitals Charity 14001 and may be left at the service or given online at www.wathalls.co.uk

Condolences to the family at the sad loss of Harold. A true gentleman and a dam good railwayman. I was interviewed by Harold for the position of Signalling Instructor at Webb House Crewe in October 1990 and he appointed me to the job. He was an excellent boss to work for and I have many happy memories of his time at Webb House. Rest in peace Harold and 7 5 5 until we meet again on the great railway in the sky.
