Suddenly, after a short illness, on Wednesday 13th March 2024.

Beloved husband of Shirley, father of Mandy and David and grandfather of Kate, Scott, Kim, Tom and Anna.

Memorial service in St Mary's, Birnam on Monday 25th March at 12 noon.

John was one of the great friends of my life. I knew him for over 50 years. He and Shirley became the truest friends that we have made.
He was hugely generous of spirit, and offered lots of encouragement to me musically, inviting me to give many recitals with him over the years.
I miss him greatly.
