MarianWANKLYNBorn 5th April 1939. A wonderful and loving wife to the late Gerry, great mum to Kevin, Steven and Helen, nanny to Nathan, and Charlotte, and mother-in-law to Lea. Fell asleep peacefully on 9th November 2023 at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital after a long and happy life in our warm family home, the place she wanted to be, and that she loved so much. Mum beamed with smiles and taught us how to say thank you. We now thank her for a life well lived. Service at Robin Hood Crematorium, Shirley on Thursday 14th December at 10.30 am. Please join us to say a fond farewell to an incredibly special lady. Family flowers only.

Remembering our lovely mum on this Mother's Day, Sunday 15th March, 2026.
Thanks for being such a lovely mum. Together, you and dad taught us how to be good people, and to respect life and everyone we share this with, just like you did. Thankyou.
God bless and mind how you go.

Friday the 30th of January, 2026. In loving memory of our dear Nanny Lee, our Mum's mum, who died on this day back in 1982.
Doris Leah Lee was born in Birmingham on the 23rd of March, 1903. Nanny married Grandad, John William Lee on the 18th of July, 1925 and together they had a wonderful life in their forever home in Wold Walk in Yardley Wood, Birmingham.
The love and care nanny showed us while growing up has left us with more beautiful memories than we can possible count. Sandwiches, salads and fizzy pop around nan's, shopping trips and visits to interesting places we never knew existed, and endless seaside holidays over long and heady summers are what we remember with deep fondness about our beloved nan.
Thank you, nan, for all the fun, guidance and inspiration, and for helping us to be who we are today. Kevin, Steven and Helen x
