IreneWARBURTONof Rising Bridge, Accrington died on August 23 at Turfcote Nursing Home, Haslingden aged 92. A stalwart of Baxenden Methodist Church along with her late husband Bob, until its closure, she continued to worship at Manchester Road Methodist Church. She enjoyed many happy times with family and friends at their holiday home at Pilling. She leaves sons Tony, Gordon and Alan, daughters - in - law Linden, Barbara and Amanda, grandchildren Julie, Gareth, Adam and Jonathan and five great grandchildren. The funeral will take place on Thursday, September 8, 1pm, at Accrington Crematorium followed by Memorial service at Manchester Road Methodist Church, Haslingden at 1.45 pm, after which family and friends are invited to stay for refreshments.
