Joan MargaretWARING25th November 1930 - 29th December 2022 Joan passed away peacefully and will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 72 years, Doug, her two daughters, Heather and Lorraine, son in law Adrian, her two grandchildren Melody and Mark and her Great Grandson, Luca. Joan and Doug moved to Woodhall Spa upon Doug's retirement 35 years ago, in 1987. During their time in Woodhall Spa, Joan was a very active member of the community, from being a member of the WI, flower club and luncheon club to name a few, as well as being a talented bowls player. Outside of being active in the community, Joan was very happy to have her family close by, and as well as a lifelong career as a beloved housewife and Mother, she became a doting Grandmother to her two grandchildren. Joan was a strong woman, who loved to party, laugh and help other people, with her friends having fond memories of her kindness and knowing exactly where they stood with her. She will be greatly missed by both family and friends. Joan's funeral will be held at St Peter's Church in Woodhall Spa on 16th January 2023 at 12:00pm, followed by a wake at The Dower House from 1:30pm.
