Richard was a senior partner at Wheawill & Sudworth in Huddersfield, before retiring in 2004. He had many interests and loved to travel, preferring to drive even if he was travelling abroad.
Beloved husband of Pamela, much loved father of Lucy and Sophie and a treasured grandfather of Rebecca, Helena, Anna and Eva.
A funeral service will be held at St. Mary's Parish Church, Elland on Wednesday 18th June at 11.45am, followed by a private committal at Park Wood Crematorium.
Family flowers only please. Donations, in lieu, will be gratefully received for Marie Curie and The Kirkwood Hospices.
