Neil, a devoted dad to Richard and Sam and much-loved son of Kenneth and Theresa, who will be greatly missed by all.

Friends and family please meet for service at St George's Church, Jesmond, at 12:30pm on Friday 16th January.

No flowers by request of family - however donations if desired are to be shared between the King's Trust, New Writing North and Radical Recruit with a collection at the church.

Everyone is welcome back to Wylam Brewery after the funeral.

I worked with Neil on a number of projects. He was a great lawyer and more importantly a kind, generous, funny and very supportive lawyer, especially of junior lawyers. He really was an incredible person. I am very saddened to hear of his passing. I pray that the dark cloud moves away, and his family and friends are comforted by all the great things he did. My special thoughts go to his sons, whom he clearly adored and his parents. I wish you all peace. I will never forget him.
