James KennethWATERFIELDIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jimmy at the age of 85. He was a beloved father to Carolyn, Adrian in Australia, James in the USA, Darren, and Helen in Liverpool, and a cherished stepfather to Leslie in Manchester. Mourning his loss are also his brother Billy and sister-in-law Sheila Waterfield from Liverpool. Jimmy's untimely passing on December 6th, 2025, has left all who knew him deeply saddened, but we find solace in knowing that he is now at rest with his wife Ann and reunited with his parents, James Sr. and Esther, sister Dorothy and son Kenneth. Jimmy led a full and productive life. As an ex-serviceman in both the Royal and Merchant Navy, he served as a radio operator on HMS Eagle. Later, he worked as a FLT driver at Peerless Refinery and as a caretaker at Aintree Retail Park. Jimmy enjoyed working well into his 70's
Jimmy's memory will be honoured through a private committal service, with details of his memorial service to be announced in due course. To all who loved him, Jimmy will be profoundly missed. Rest in peace, dear Jimmy. Your presence, love, and wisdom will be cherished forever, and your legacy will continue to inspire us all.
