ElizabethWATHAN1921 - 2008 Eric, Barbara and the family of the late Elizabeth Wathan of St George's Court, Tredegar, wish to take this opportunity to publicly thank their relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy and the cards of condolence they received following the recent sad loss of a dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Grateful thanks to everyone who gave of their time to attend Betty's funeral service at Castle Street Church and Cefn Golau Cemetery and for the generous donations in lieu of floral tributes. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff of Bedwellty Ward, Tredegar General Hospital and the Hospice of the Valleys team, especially Angela Stephenson and Louise Taylor for their unfailing kindness, loving care and support. Many thanks to Rev John Palmer who officiated for the personal and comforting service and to the ladies at Castle Street Church for their kind help with the provision of the refreshments.
