David RussellWEBSTEROn 15th February 2020 Aged 50 years. Passed away peacefully with his daughters at his side. Much loved father to Stephanie and Laura, grandad of Lilly, Isaiah and Olive, brother, uncle and friend to many. David will be sadly missed by all who loved him. Funeral service at Huddersfield Crematorium, Fixby on Wednesday 4th March at 12.30pm. Family flowers only, but donations in lieu to the Royal British Legion. By request, colourful print/floral shirts to be worn on the day. All enquiries to The Gables Funeral Service, Marsh. Tel 01484 424235.

Unlike many here have only known David 3 years but in that short time a great comradary has developed with wit sarcasm and banter like no other a true great friend.
I would like to say a few words to this unique man
From a rock ape(regiment) to a penguin (RAF)
You can shed a tear that he is gone or you can close your eyes and see all he has left behind.
Your heart may be empty because you can't see him or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow because of yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday
You can cry and close your mind be empty and turn your back
Or you can do what he would want smile open your eyes love and go on.
