Gillian MaryWELLS(née Ordish) of Rosliston Passed away peacefully at Queen's Hospital Burton on the 27th January 2021, aged 78 years. Dearly loved wife of Mick. A loving mother and mother-in-law to Christopher & Angela, Sue & Steve and a treasured grandma of Matthew and Natasha. We thank all staff at Ward 3 for their care. Due to current restrictions a private service will be held in the Carnarvon Chapel at Bretby Crematorium. No flowers by request. Donations will be gratefully received for Swadlincote Salvation Army (cheques made payable to The Salvation Army) and may be sent directly to their address in Swadlincote. Many happy memories of our hockey-playing days. She was fearsome and very competitve on the field, but kind, funny and offered really sound advice once the game was over! She had a wicked sense of humour and we had really good times off the field of play. Happy days.
