JefferyWELLSMr Jeffery H. Wells, of Holgate Street, Great Harwood, passed away at Henley House Care Home, Accrington, aged 87 on Friday, July 16. During his career Jeffery had worked as an engineer at Carlton Press Knives, in Waterfoot. He was also a member of Great Harwood Camera Club and was interested in photography, walking and ice-skating. Jeffery and Freda were married for 60 years. Jeffery leaves wife Freda, sons Michael, Paul and Mark, together with grandchildren Amy and Connor. A funeral service will be held at 1.40pm on Wednesday, August 11, at Accrington Crematorium. No flowers please, however donations may be made to Lewy Body Society online or via the donation box at the crematorium. Funeral director: Birtwistle & Rishton, 29, Queen Street, Great Harwood.
