Mr Welsh was our English teacher at Shorefields school. I always looked forward to his lessons as a student and was in awe of his great personality, his character and independant way of thinking. He's always had our best interest at heart and wished us all to be successful. A true gentleman indeed. I last met Mr Welsh by chance in 2003, on Mt pleasant road. I was happy to see him again and we spoke and laughed a little, he had a father like figure and it was very noticable that Mr Welsh was a gentle giant. We shook hands hoping to see one another in the near future, not knowing that it would be the last time we would meet. Though it had been many years since his passing, he still lives in our hearts by spirit. I wish I could've offered my condolences to his family at the time, however, I wish his family would read this message and see it as corroborative proof that this great man, Mr Welsh, still lives in our minds and hearts after so many years had passed by.
My deepest sympathies to his family.
Yours faithfully,
Amar Moosa.
