EdithWELSHIt is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Aunt Edie, who after 5 weeks in Glasgow Royal Infirmary passed peacefully on Sunday 15th March.
A loving wife to her late husband James & mum to her late daughter Sandra.... a sister to James, late brothers Willie & Sammy and late sisters Roberta, Cassie, Sarah & Ellie... and a treasured aunt to so many nieces and nephews. Aunt Edie was a special lady to us all, showing such strength following the loss of her daughter Sandra 9 yrs ago. She was also a much loved member of her Church family who nurtured & strengthened her faith that gave her such a sure foundation.
We invite family and friends to celebrate Aunt Edie's life at 11am on Friday 27th March at Parkhead Congregational Church, followed by a committal at 12pm at Daldowie Crematorium, returning to the church for light refreshments.
