ShirleyWESTIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley West of Scunthorpe, formerly of Hull, passing peacefully and with dignity at Balmoral House.
A beloved wife of the late Brian, mum to Julie, mother-in-law to Gordon, nanna to Siobhan and great nanna to Niamh and Heath.
An avid reader of crime novels and woman of style, Shirley held on to life until the very end. What would have been their 68th Wedding Anniversary on 7th September, Shirley and Brian are now reunited again.
We will be holding a funeral service to celebrate the life of Shirley on Thursday 25th September at 12pm, Woodlands Crematorium, Brumby Wood Lane, Scunthorpe, DN17 1SP.
Those attending the service are encouraged to wear a pop of colour to honour Shirley's life.
