The obituary notice of Ralph Henry WHEELER

Even though I didn’t know ralph very long there are a few things I noticed day to day of how he showed his appreciation for maddy. Coming into work in the morning , maddy’s mug was always washed with a fancy frothy coffee prepared waiting for her in the mornings with the same black handled spoon sitting across the brim.
He would call the works landline most days, I would answer in my high pitch phone voice and he would respond in the same voice ‘hiiiii Lottie , where’s maddy’ it turns out he only wanted to know what was for tea most days haha.
His love for Maddy and Soph was so strong, when he was in hospital no matter what state he was in , he always asked how Sophie was when Maddy answered the calls at work.
Working along side Maddy the last year and a half we have become very close, I can’t imagine how hard this all had been but I really hope you you have the best send off tomorrow.

Ralph, thank you for being such a welcoming and warm father in law for all these years. A funny and unique man with his own take on life - you have given and shown me so much. Your presence will be so missed, we think of you always and we will remember the happy times forever.

I promise that Gareth and I will always look after Maddy and Sophie.
