Robert GeorgeWHITBREADBob passed away peacefully at home on 2nd June 2025 at the grand age of 96.

A celebration of his life with refreshments will be held at his home on Saturday 28th June at 12 noon. The address is Long Acre, Etling Green, Dereham, Norfolk NR20 3EY.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully received through: Tribute to Robert (Bob) Whitbread at https://robertwhitbread.muchloved.com/. Alternatively, please send to the Funeral Director, W.C. Littleproud & Son Ltd, Cobbs Corner, South Green, Dereham, Norfolk, NR19 1PU.

He was keen on aviation and nature, thus contributions will go to the Stow Maries WW1 Aviation Museum and nature reserve just outside Danbury in Essex www.stowmaries.org.uk (registered charity no. 1151099).

Bob was a long-term resident of Little Baddow near Danbury and will be greatly missed by family and all who knew him.

So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He used to help in our, garden in Little Baddow for many years. I had known Amy since my childhood, when she worked in the Library in Chelmsford, and later they lived near us on The Ridge in Little Baddow.

My condolences and deepest sympathy to the family.
