The obituary notice of Derek WHITE

Derek (Bert), my 'Dad in law' much loved and missed. A man with a story for every occasion, taught me how to play golf but never swore once! Father of Clare and William. Grandfather to Emma, James, Frances, Hannah and Freya. Loved by extended family especially Graham and his wife Annette who helped him so much in times of trouble. Will be remembered by so many. Gone now to be reunited with those he truly loved. We have so many happy memories, most faded by the course of time, 'Bert' we love you, you will never be forgotten. x

I will remember him most for his laughter that could fill a room. The stories that he told and everything that he taught me will stick with me forever. He is a man who can never really be summarised in a few sentences but he meant the world to me and I am so sad that he is gone but so happy that I knew him

Derek was my lovely dad. David Emma James and I miss him enormously. No epitaph or tribute could ever really do him justice but we will hold him in our hearts and remember him with love every day.
