BarryWHITESadly passed away on 28th February aged 85 years.
Loving father to Karen, Hazel and David. Proud grandfather to Sophie, Adam, James, Pippa, Ellie, Ben, Andrew and Oliver.
Barry was born in Ainsdale and went on to marry Margaret, of Southport. They then relocated to Ellesmere Port where Barry worked at Vauxhall Motors as a mechanical engineer for almost 40yrs.
He returned to Ainsdale, following the sad and premature death of his devoted wife. He continued to maintain the home of his beloved Aunt Pat, also of Ainsdale, following her death in 2007.
He will be remembered for his fierce independence, quick wit and attention to detail whether in the workplace or in his immaculate garden. Family was always a priority to Barry.
He will be missed by all his family who are incredibly proud of all he achieved in his 85 years.
Funeral service to be held at Ainsdale St John's Church 11 am on 31st March 2026 followed by a Committal at Liverpool Road Cemetery.
Family flowers only. Any donations in memory of Barry will be gratefully received and will go towards Ainsdale in Bloom.
